About The Evergreens Foundation

The Evergreens Foundation is a management body comprised of seven municipalities. A Board of Directors governs The Evergreens Foundation with representation from the six municipal governments. The Evergreens Foundation manages 182 Lodge/Supportive housing units, 152 senior self-contained units, 21 community-housing units.

Who We Are
Governance of the Foundation is provided by the Board of Directors, through the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). In turn, the CAO is assisted by a management team composed of an Operations Manager, Human Resources Manager, Executive Assistant, Finance Manager, Payroll & Benefits Administrator, Administrative Assistant/FOIP Co-ordinator and eight Site Managers. The Lodge Managers direct an average of 18 lodge staff in providing 24-hour care of the residents. Three communities also have a Social Housing Manager who administers all non-lodge housing in their town.

What We Do
The Evergreens Foundation provides affordable housing for Alberta seniors either through the Lodge Program or the Seniors Self Contained Apartment Program; the Foundation also assists Canadian households in financial need to obtain adequate housing.

News Release:

Please Note: No new applications for rent supplements are being accepted at this time while the existing programs are being reviewed for consistency of benefits and to ensure households that need assistance most are prioritized.
